Piper Companies is currently seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to sit remotely and support a long-term research project in the micro-medical biotechnology space.

Responsibilities of the Principal Scientist:

• Provides scientific support to clinical research functions
• Able to compose internal briefings on relevant topics
• Travels 10-20% of the time in support of project needs

Qualifications of the Principal Scientist:

• BS in Engineering and MBA (required)
• Foundation in ophthalmology biotechnology
• Equal comfort with data preparation and presentation
• Willingness to work with human-derived samples
• Preference for candidates with experience as part of a multidisciplinary team in an academic or industrial environment

Compensation for the Principal Scientist:

• Salary: $125,000-$185,000, commensurate with experience
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and PTO
