Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to act as technical lead on delivery projects across bridges, buildings and civil structures. You will produce calculations and drawings, assess risks, and report to clients, while guiding a team of engineers and technicians.

The role covers bridge design, building structure design and civil engineering structures design with experience in rail, highways or power sectors. A Chartered status (CEng) is preferred.

Qualifications

• MEng, CEng (ICE or IStructE) qualification required.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary team environment.
• Client-focused approach with understanding of construction best practice.
• Good working knowledge of structural analysis software.
• Experience in production of calculations/drawings, risk assessments, specifications and reporting.

Working across multiple sectors (highways, rail, power and energy) involved in the engineering design of a variety of structure types - from bridges to buildings and including temporary works. We don't expect you to be an expert in all structure types or sectors and training will be provided where required. The role offers a varied workload and a chance for you to develop and broaden your skills in new areas.
