Elastic is seeking a Platform Engineering Productivity lead to own CI, CD, and Release infrastructure at scale. You will define the roadmap, identify bottlenecks, and drive secure, scalable release processes across teams. You will mentor engineers, oversee incident response, and ensure high-velocity yet safe deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in CI/CD and hardening release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Excellent debugging instincts across full pipeline stack from tests to deployments.
• Hands-on with CI infrastructure tools such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD and release processes across the org.
• Identify bottlenecks, friction, or security risks before incidents and drive remediation.
• Design and enforce scalable release gates covering supply chain integrity and readiness.
• Direct engineers on multi-quarter projects, breaking down architecture and owning outcomes.
• Drive clear technical communication and documentation for systems and processes.
• Act as Incident Commander for high-severity supply chain or release incidents.
• Raise engineering bar through code reviews, mentorship, and design reviews.
• Remain hands-on at the right depth, reviewing code and prototyping approaches while empowering others.
