Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a Principal for Business Operations to act as a strategic and operational partner for our Mid-Market GTM organization in San Diego.

You will drive operating rhythms, planning processes, and cross-functional problem solving to unlock efficiency and scale. You will partner with senior leaders across product, tech, finance, analytics, and operations to define priorities, track milestones, and deliver executive-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field, ideally within a high growth or matrixed environment.
• Experience directly advising senior executives and supporting complex, high-stakes business decisions.
• Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of complex, sometimes messy information into clear insights and recommendations leaders can act on.
• Strong business judgment, with an intuitive grasp of how strategy, operations, financial performance, and execution connect.
• Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes, or performance management systems.
• Ability to cut through ambiguity and complexity into a clear point of view, challenge constructively, and establish structure and sequence where little currently exists.
• Executive level written and verbal communication. You can walk into a room with a VP and leave with a decision.
• Genuine curiosity about small businesses and how QuickBooks can make their lives easier. This work only matters if you care who it is for.
• FinTech, SaaS, or small business software experience is a plus, not a requirement
