Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Clinical Development IT functions such as Medical Affairs, Regulatory, or Clinical Operations.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Self-driven with ability to navigate ambiguity and provide direction.
• Proficiency in basic to intermediate AI tools and building AI agents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile delivery and Jira/Confluence.

• Collaborate with GD IT Leadership to support the GD Digital Transformation Program, including overall program management.
• Support delivery of a GD Digital Transformation Program “use case” (new digital solution to improve efficiency and ways of working across GD).
• Develop frameworks to gather accurate, measurable requirements that dictate project outcomes.
• Build flexible processes and frameworks for traditional (waterfall) and hybrid (agile) delivery methods.
• Collect GD IT operational metrics; analyze, identify, and develop action plans for improvement areas.
• Introduce new insights, approaches, solutions, and technologies for GD IT.
• Collaborate with GD IT agile Delivery & Operations and Data Enablement leads to ensure solutions are planned, accomplished, and improved upon.
• Provide direction on projects and technology products to manage user expectations, timelines, budget, and value realization.
• Work with GD functions, Corporate IT, and other relevant functions to manage enterprise systems, including standards and governance.

This Role Requires

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BS/BA).
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical Global Development business capabilities, processes, applications, and key industry trends.
• Experience in one or more Clinical Development IT functions: Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Global Patient Safety, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics & Data Management, Clinical Quality, etc.
• Robust business acumen and analytical expertise.
• Self-drive; ability to work in ambiguity with minimal oversight.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in AI tools (e.g., CoPilot) and building AI agents.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to indirectly influence stakeholders.
• Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile experience and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Track record in technology project, stakeholder, and budget management.
• Ability to coordinate, influence, and empower diverse teams.
• Knowledge of GXP/GCP and regulatory ICH 6 guidelines.
• Expertise with MS Office Suite.
