Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Backend developer experience.
• Data engineering and API development experience.
• Experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience designing/managing PostgreSQL databases with efficient SQL and indexing.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in FastAPI.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Elasticsearch.
• Experience building high-performance API connections for high-speed, high-volume, mission-critical, data-sensitive systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, algorithms, and real-time data processing.
• Provide input to software component design and trade-offs with reuse and COTS/GOTS.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications and perform software engineering tasks.
• Use appropriate software engineering methodologies for the environment.
• Ensure efficient delivery of software capabilities with repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks and manage large-scale, integrated software projects.
• Review and test software components and document results.
