Principal Backend Engineer

Compensation Range: $145,000 - $165,000 base, with a bonus potential of up to 12%

Your Work:

Feathr’s SaaS platform is critical to our value delivery. As a Principal Engineer, you will help grow and maintain the technical components to meet our diverse customer needs in advertising, marketing, and web analytics. You should have a strong interest in and proficiency with web development.

You will work under the direction of the Associate Director of Product Engineering, owning your code from planning to maintenance, collaborating with stakeholders, deploying and monitoring changes, and addressing issues.

Your Experience:

• 6+ years in software development, especially SaaS products
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
• Experience owning complex software projects from start to finish

Your Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and Python
• Experience with Advanced Elasticsearch APIs
• Expertise in MongoDB queries and maintenance
• Experience with AWS (EC2, EKS)
• Familiarity with self-hosted Drone CI/CD

Compensation:

Starting at $145,000 annually, with potential additional earnings of up to 12% of base salary.
