Job summary

CVector Energy Corp. is building real-time optimization and AI-driven predictions for energy and manufacturing plants. As a Principal backend engineer in NYC, you will own and evolve time-series data systems, AI-assisted analytics, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You’ll work across data ingestion pipelines, architect complex systems, mentor teams, and drive migrations, with four days in the NYC office and one day remote each week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building production backend systems.
• Experience with distributed architectures and data pipelines.
• Strong architectural judgement and ownership of large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of CVector's backend platform and data systems.
• Lead major migrations and maintainability improvements across services.
• Collaborate with product, modeling, and frontend teams to shape platform direction.
