Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Portland, OR is seeking a Principal Embedded Platform Architect with 12+ years of embedded software and platform-architecture experience to lead a critical on-site engagement.

The on-site architect will be the single technical contact between the customer and an offshore team, guiding decisions for QNX, Embedded Linux, Android Automotive, and Qualcomm platforms while coordinating deliverables and milestones.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of embedded software development and platform architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in C and C++.
• Strong architecture and development experience across QNX, Embedded Linux, and Android.
• Experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms, preferably automotive.
• Understanding of QNX Hypervisor, virtualization, and multi-OS platform architectures.

Responsibilities

• Single onsite technical lead coordinating between the customer and offshore engineering teams.
• Define solution approaches and drive architecture decisions.
• Coordinate offshore specialists and review technical deliverables.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and ensure commitments are delivered with quality and on time.
