Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc (USA) is seeking a Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer in Menands, NY, onsite. Lead design, development, and support of data acquisition and control systems for cGMP manufacturing, following change control and GAMP 5 guidelines.

You will troubleshoot deviations, author system specifications, and generate FAT/SAT protocols while coordinating with process control software and infrastructure teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer with experience in real-time data collection and analysis to join a diverse team of engineers, developers, analysts, and administrators to design, implement, and support Data Acquisition and Analysis Systems. Discover your role:

• Design, develop, and implement software/hardware improvements to existing automated equipment and new equipment according to change control procedures
• Perform troubleshooting and investigations relating to manufacturing deviations and anomalies associated with automated control systems
• Develop and edit engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment while following GAMP 5 guidelines
• Support small manufacturing, engineering, and validation projects
• Provide support to process control and process monitoring equipment software design, commissioning, testing, and corrective action
• Author or update system specifications and user and functional requirements specifications, and generate and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols
• Review cyber security vulnerabilities and risk pertaining to automation systems, software, and infrastructure
• Create, modify, and maintain automation system documentation
• Participate in rotational on-call schedule

This role requires:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, ideally, along with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with OT applications, including SCADAs, HMIs, Historians, etc.
• Core knowledge related to ISA S95 and S88 principles and IT/Automation integration
• Familiarity with standing up large systems at the enterprise level
• Familiarity with PLC communication, HMIs, computerized system design, and maintenance of automation process control infrastructure

Gowning and Physical Requirements:

• Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
• Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire

Salary Range (annually) $103,300.00 - $168,500.00
