How You'll help us to connect the world:

Our growing team is hiring Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about making pioneer smart Wi-Fi products. You should be comfortable with the entire wired and wireless networking design and implementation.

You will have a strong background and hands-on experience in L2, L3, L4-L7, 802.11, automation scripting. You will work with the team to build Wi-Fi controller software features and automate software features on the Access Point.

Responsibilities:

  • Building automation for wireless features and wireless performance using Robot Framework, Python.
  • Building wireless CICD to test WiFi performance on VeriWave and Spirent.
  • Collaborating with local and international engineering teams to create test automation based on existing test cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of QA automation experience for WiFi and L2/L3 switch products.
  • Proficiency with Python, Robot Framework (Jenkins, GIT), and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with 802.11n, ac, ax, be 11 r/k/v, Dot1x.
  • Experience with REST API automation and testing.
  • Experience with programmable attenuators and roaming.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and hypervisors.
  • Understanding of public/private/hybrid cloud, Openstack, GCE.
  • Experience with wireless networking tools like VeriWave, Chariot, Spirent, Ixia, and wireless monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with network protocol layers and network analyzers such as WireShark, EtherReal, OmniPeek, Wi-spy, Aircap. Python, TCL-TK, Java scripting skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to write clear procedures, bug reports, and test documentation.
  • BSc or MSc in CS, EE, IS, Math, or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Additional network certifications.

This is a HYBRID role based out of Sunnyvale, CA (3 days a week). Local candidates only.

Our salary range considers various factors including experience, skills, education, and location. The expected total compensation is $135,000.00-$175,600.00, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and more.

Candidates will be eligible for paid holidays, vacation, and other leave options.
