Capital One is seeking a Principal Auditor to join the Dynamic Audit Resourcing Team (DART). The role involves leading audits or key components, designing audit programs, and communicating progress to stakeholders while coaching junior staff.

Hybrid work arrangement with offices listed in the posting. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of auditing experience and a strong background in data analytics, IT controls, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 4 years of auditing experience.
• CIA/CPA/CISA or other certifications preferred.
• Experience leading audits or acting as audit-in-charge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small audits or major components of larger audits.
• Develop engagement planning docs and audit programs.
• Design and execute audit procedures to verify controls, document evidence.
• Prepare clear documentation including draft findings.
• Maintain client and team relations and communicate progress clearly.
• Plan own work across the team and manage multiple priorities.
• Provide coaching and feedback to audit staff.
