Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field; certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP preferred.
• Experience in Cyber Security, IT infrastructure and IT risk management or IT audit is highly valued.
• Knowledge of audit concepts and controls in outsourced projects and IT service/quality management.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while applying ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, coordinate and execute audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of cyber security controls.
• Contribute to Continuous Monitoring and implementation of Group Audit Methodology.
• Draft and consolidate audit reports for review by audit management and track findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices (NY, Jacksonville, London, Birmingham, Berlin, Frankfurt, Singapore).

Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our Group Audit team, focusing on Cyber Security and Technology Risk. In this role, you will evaluate the effectiveness of cyber security controls, technology infrastructure, and risk management practices across one of the world's leading financial institutions. Working within a globally connected audit function, you will partner closely with technology, cyber security, and risk management teams to assess emerging risks, support regulatory expectations, and help strengthen the firm's control environment. This position offers the opportunity to gain deep exposure to enterprise-scale cyber security programs, cloud and infrastructure technologies, and complex global technology platforms while collaborating with colleagues across the United States, Europe, and Asia. What You’ll Do

• Plan, prepare, coordinate and execute audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of cyber security controls in accordance with Group Audit
• Contribute to Continuous Monitoring and overall implementation of Group Audit Methodology
• Undertake audit assignments, draft and consolidate audit reports for review by audit management and facilitate finding tracking and validate controls
• Participate in ad hoc projects and special inquiries
• Work closely with colleagues in New York, Jacksonville, London, Birmingham, Berlin, Frankfurt and Singapore

Skills You’ll Need

University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related scientific degree; certifications as CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent Technical hands-on skills and experience within Information/ Cyber Security would be a distinct advantage Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Cyber Security, IT infrastructure, IT production, IT operation such as system administration software development for IT infrastructure applications Experience in IT Audit, IT risk management or information security A fundamental understanding of the following Audit disciplines: audit concepts (e.g. pre-/post implementation audits), controls in outsourced project management and auditing IT service- and quality management Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs undefined Skills That Will Help You Excel Very good written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in conflicts and at all management levels Experiences in analyzing and articulating Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure risks combined with a good understanding of IT services and IT processes in an enterprise Technical experience in Cyber Security domains and willingness to learn and grow knowledge Flexibility, pro‑active, self‑sufficient and innovative with strong organizational skills to take ownership and responsibility of agreed targets and manage completion of audit projects Ability to multi‑task assignments and prioritize the workload with limited supervision and be resilient under pressure and the ability to deliver in a timely manner Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
