Job description

The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra is looking for a Principal and Assistant Principal Viola and is scheduling auditions for these positions. The auditions will take place on the afternoon of September 5 at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church located at 149 W Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Interested candidates should prepare one movement of a standard concerto and specific excerpts from works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Berlioz, Bruckner, Mozart, and Strauss.Compensation for the Assistant Principal position includes $80 per rehearsal, $105 per concert, and $42 for pre-concert soundchecks. Compensation for the Principal position includes $88 per rehearsal, $110 per concert, and $42 for pre-concert soundchecks.
