As a key regional technical overlay, the Principal Architect operates with a high degree of autonomy, partnering closely with sales teams to develop advanced, tailored solution designs and sophisticated proposals. The position significantly contributes to revenue growth by driving strategic client engagement and deep Cloud Solutions Provider alignment and serves as Technical Account Lead on flagship projects.

Client Engagement and Presales Leadership
  • Lead high‑stakes presales efforts across the assigned region/market(s) as the primary technical overlay, directly impacting and aligning with ambitious sales targets.
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to create sophisticated, enterprise‑level solution designs, technical roadmaps, and proposals.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops as the senior technical face of the organization in complex presales engagements.
  • Serve as a key advisor to sales leadership on presales enablement and strategic go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Strategically partner with Cloud Solutions Providers (CSP) to drive adoption of advanced solutions and support critical vendor‑specific goals.
  • Oversee the fast and efficient turnaround of Statements of Work (SOWs), scopes, and other sales‑related documents.
Technical Account & Project Leadership
  • Serve as the Technical Account Lead on select, high‑value, large‑scale, and complex projects, providing critical technical governance and expertise.
  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship to delivery teams during project delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with project teams to proactively communicate critical timelines, resource needs, and progress to all stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess client needs and strategically identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell additional services.
Standards Development & Innovation
  • Develop company‑wide scalable architectures, advanced presales tools, and repeatable solution blueprints that drive consistency and operational efficiency across the firm.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and CSP teams to maintain and evolve technical playbooks and presales enablement materials.
  • Deliver technology enablement workshops, client‑facing demos, and training on emerging technologies.
  • Work collaboratively within and across regional practices, maintaining alignment to demanding utilization and growth goals.
Professional Development & Expertise
  • Maintain multiple current professional‑level and specialty industry, CSP, and technology‑specific certifications, and actively stay informed on emerging, high‑impact solutions for both presales and delivery.
  • Pursue continuous growth in certifications and advanced technical capabilities.
  • Grow sales acumen through continued education focused on specific sales training and strategies.
Qualifications
  • 10‑14 years of relevant experience in cloud computing and architecture.
  • Experience designing, architecting, and successfully implementing highly complicated, enterprise‑grade technology solutions.
  • Exceptional track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly efficient cloud solutions in a production environment.
  • Expert‑level experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless computing (Serverless Framework).
  • Advanced‑level application portfolio analysis and discovery to determine application migration and modernization paths.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technology solutions, such as foundational architectures, cloud networking, cloud security, DevOps practices, and open‑source technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in defining and assuring the time estimation to perform infrastructure‑related tasks.
  • Strong understanding of training LLMs, RAG models, Generative AI, and Agentic AI use cases and implementations.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Hold at least two professional‑level certifications and one associate‑level certification in two different cloud solutions (e.g., one from AWS and one from Azure/GCP).
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Management, or equivalent professional experience.
