Qualifications

• 12+ years designing and building production software, with distributed systems and platform infrastructure experience.
• Track record as principal, staff-plus, or equivalent technical leader across teams.
• Deep expertise in distributed-systems design: scalability, availability, latency, consistency, and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural approaches for multi-region distributed systems.
• Guide architecture reviews, tradeoffs, and production readiness.
• Mentor senior/ staff engineers and raise engineering standards across teams.
• Communicate architecture decisions clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Define fault-tolerance and security considerations across services.
