Job summary

Credera is a global consulting firm that helps clients transform with AI and technology. As a Principal Architect, you will define the technology vision, own design and delivery, mentor teams, and help win new business in a hybrid model based in Houston.

You’ll lead multiple teams delivering enterprise solutions, shape AI strategy, and partner with clients to synthesize requirements and propose technical approaches while upholding Credera’s best practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a software architect or technologist.
• Hands-on coding up to 40% of time.
• Strong knowledge across UX, middle tier, and database stacks.
• Experience with Java, .NET, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), and testing tools.
• Ability to mentor and lead teams and engage with clients.
• Business development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define technology vision and own design, estimation, and execution for engagements.
• Lead teams of technologists and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Mentor team members and support practice development.
• Engage with clients to capture requirements and propose technical approaches.
• Participate in business development cycles.
