Job summary

Esri is seeking an experienced Instructor to empower customers with ArcGIS through hands-on training, interactive instruction, and engaging activities. You will partner with organizations to expand ArcGIS use, communicate GIS impact, and deliver multi-format training across industries.

The role supports customers in Defense, Public Safety, Health and Human Services, and offers relocation assistance to Denver, CO. Travel is expected for onsite sessions and international engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities.
• 5 of those years should be in ArcGIS Enterprise or Enterprise Geodatabases.
• 2 of those years should include classroom facilitation and instructional delivery.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Travel up to 20% for onsite trainings.

Responsibilities

• Grow user skills by developing and delivering training programs in person, virtually, and hybrid formats.
• Ensure sustainable GIS workflows by guiding customers on best practices and workshops.
• Expand the use of ArcGIS by identifying use cases and delivering training to showcase capabilities.
• Communicate the impact of GIS through compelling narratives and visuals.
