Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Principal Applied Scientist for the FAIM team to invent models that improve advertiser ROAS and growth. You will define the science vision for end-to-end RL Gym training, prototype production-ready ML, and lead a growing team to deliver optimization across campaigns.

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands-on predictive modeling and analysis.
• Ability to translate informal customer requirements into problem definitions with ambiguity.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python and related languages.
• Experience leading experienced scientists and developing junior members.

Responsabilidades

• Define the long-term scientific vision for our RL Gym based training process focusing on campaign optimization and other advertising workflows.
• Translating ambiguous advertiser needs and objectives into a concrete science roadmap.
• Invent, prototype, and productionize ML and optimization solutions for joint budget allocation across sponsored ad products.
• Develop robust approaches to incrementality measurement and long-term-sales modeling.
• Design and lead large-scale experiments to validate hypotheses and guide product direction.
• Partner with engineering and product to define technical contracts and data schemas for production.
• Mentor and raise the technical bar across science and engineering.
