Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Java backend/middle-tier engineer to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain the TDMS suite. You will collaborate with stakeholders and engineers on cloud-oriented development, delivery workflows, code reviews, and ongoing maintenance.

Ideal candidates have strong Java backend or middle-tier experience, Linux proficiency, and familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot, middleware, and CI/CD. Exposure to AI-assisted tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience in Java backend or middle-tier development.
Strong Linux experience and knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot.
Familiarity with enterprise middleware, APIs, XML/JSON, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Job description

Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Java backend and middle-tier capabilities for TDMS, a mission-critical manufacturing test-record management suite. Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers on reliable application solutions, cloud-oriented development, delivery workflows, code reviews, maintenance, and technical guidance.

Requirements:

Requires strong hands-on Java backend or middle-tier development experience, extensive Linux experience, and familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot, enterprise middleware, Jenkins or CI/CD, XML and JSON, APIs, integrations, and a cloud platform. Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, code review, and technical guidance skills are expected; XSLT is preferred, and exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
