Job summary

RX Global is seeking an experienced Principal Application Security Engineer to lead application security across our global technology estate. You will partner with engineering leadership to embed Secure by Design and ensure security is built into the SDLC.

Reporting to the CISO, you will drive strategy, governance, and threat modelling, oversee vulnerability management, and promote secure coding practices across cloud-native architectures including AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Application Security or Security Engineering.
Experience delivering Secure Development Lifecycle programmes.
Hands-on with OWASP Top 10, threat modelling, and security reviews.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead RX Application Security programme, defining strategy, roadmaps and maturity goals.
Embed Secure by Design across the SDLC, including threat modelling and architecture reviews.
Oversee vulnerability management: SAST/DAST, SCA, container security and CI/CD security.
Partner with engineering leaders to promote secure coding and design practices.
Provide security guidance for cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure) and governance activities.
