Job summary

Meridian Space in Long Beach, CA, seeks a senior antenna engineer to drive novel antenna technologies for its LEO constellation program. You will lead research, simulation, design, optimization, testing and calibration of advanced antenna systems to enable secure, sovereign connectivity.

Role focuses on electronically scanned antennas, patches, metasurfaces and RF components, with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering with EM theory/microwave.
Strong EM and optics understanding in microwave systems.
Experience designing electronically scanned antennas.
Experience designing patches, metasurfaces, horns, or waveguides.
Proficiency with HFSS, CST or FEKO.
Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for system simulation.
Familiarity with range testing and relevant test equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Research, simulate, design, optimize, test and calibrate new antenna technologies.
Lead rapid deployment of these technologies in Meridian Space's LEO constellation program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antennas into systems.
