Job summary

Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN) is seeking a Business Performance & Analytics Principal to lead and execute reporting, analytics, and performance management initiatives. You will develop analytics capabilities, support KPI frameworks, and deliver insights to inform leadership decisions.

This hands-on role partners with senior leaders, mentors analysts, and guides complex initiatives while building scalable reporting and analytics capabilities for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or performance management.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives from requirements to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics initiatives and reporting workstreams to support performance management.
• Design KPI frameworks and reporting methodologies for consistent visibility.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions integrating operational metrics.
• Conduct root-cause, trend, and performance analyses to identify opportunities.
• Forecast workload and provide predictive insights to inform decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into actionable reporting.
• Support complex reporting requests and cross-functional coordination.
• Mentor analysts and establish reporting standards across the team.
• Contribute hands-on to report development, data validation, and documentation.
• Establish governance, definitions, and repeatable development processes.
