Job Summary:

What You Can Expect

We are seeking an RF and Analog Design Engineer to contribute to the development of multi-tens of GHz Transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs). These optical interface chips are tightly integrated with our high-performance equalizers. Our innovative designs have established our TIAs as best in class for coherent long-haul and metro systems, as well as PAM4 data center systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Active circuit design and technical leadership.
• Designing cutting-edge transimpedance amplifiers, primarily in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS technology, aiming to surpass industry standards.
• Developing transmission line and millimeter wave structures for enhanced performance.
• Designing high-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers.
• Designing various analog circuits such as linear regulators, automatic gain control (AGC) loops, current/voltage sensors, and bandgaps.
• Developing microarchitecture for major circuit blocks and guiding design teams across technologies including SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS.
• Collaborating with other teams for post-silicon validation, qualification, transition to mass production, and customer support.

What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design, or MSc/PhD in EE with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
