Job summary

Niuro in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to own top-level AMS IC development onsite. You will lead from architecture to high-volume production and drive DFT/DFM readiness.

You will collaborate with digital, CAD, and test teams, supervise layout, and guide verification and bench validation for rapid silicon bring-up. Strong track record is required.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.
• C2 English level or higher.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Santa Clara, CA (non-negotiable).
• Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production.
• Proven experience in circuit architecture development, detailed design, and simulation of blocks such as Oscillators, ADCs, DACs, temperature sensors, PLLs, low-noise op-amps, regulators, bandgap circuits, or subthreshold circuits.
• Proficiency with EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, and Layout XL.
• Extensive knowledge of layout effects, post-layout extraction, and verification.
• Hands-on experience with Analog Mixed-Signal Design, CMOS, BiCMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC, DFT, DFM, IC Design.

Responsibilities

• Develop analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits in CMOS or BiCMOS processes.

As a Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you will take ownership of top-level analog mixed-signal IC development. In this onsite role based in Santa Clara, you will lead development from initial architecture and technical feasibility studies through to high-volume production release. You will define block-level specifications, supervise layout designers, and drive top-level schematic ownership and simulation.Collaborating closely with digital design, verification, CAD, and test engineering teams, you will architect chips for Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Your leadership will guide block designers, facilitate comprehensive design reviews, and support bench validation and qualification efforts to achieve rapid silicon bring-up.
