Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in AI, analytics, energy systems, digital grid technologies, utility operations, power systems, demand flexibility, or energy transition domains.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proven track record applying AI to strategic or market-facing problems in energy, utility, grid, or electrification challenges; publications or thought leadership valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead Grid Intelligence Research: design and execute research on digital grid transformation, load flexibility, DER orchestration, and grid modernization.
• Lead AI for Energy Systems: assess ML, generative AI, predictive analytics, and optimization impacts on operations, resilience, and decarbonization.
• Lead Future Energy Scenarios: develop strategic perspectives on electrification, renewable integration, and AI-driven energy management.
• Support Analytical Tooling: prototype and apply AI tools, platforms, and methodologies.
• Support Emerging Technology Assessment: evaluate AI, digital twins, DER, DR, and cloud-based grid platforms.
