Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Bellevue, NE, is seeking Principal Data Scientists. Successful candidates will demonstrate a broad skill set balancing interpersonal and technical capabilities, with a proven track record in effective communication and problem-solving. Responsibilities include participating in the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating with other developers, and delivering quality products.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate progress regularly to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma + 9 years of software development OR
  Bachelor's in STEM + 5 years OR
  Master's in STEM + 3 years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, Data Architecture, Data Streaming, AI/ML Training, MLOps, Agile environment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and access to Bellevue, NE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Data Mesh/Fabric, data governance, and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn) and MLOps tools (ClearML).
• Experience with microservices, containerization, configuration management, and collaboration tools.
• Current DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Salary Range

$115,300 - $172,900, depending on experience and qualifications.
