What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Machine Learning Engineer specializing in LLMs and autonomous agents and agentic AI to work on an innovative AI-driven orchestration engine that empowers organizations to automate complex workflows through intelligent, proprietary and 3rd Party AI agents.

We are looking for people with a very technical background in software development across multiple technology stacks in the development of highly scalable software services and systems.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Architect and lead the development of scalable, robust AI orchestration frameworks that enable autonomous, agentic AI systems to collaborate and execute complex tasks.
  • Design and build LLM powered proprietary AI agents and services capable of reasoning, learning, and adapting within dynamic IT environments.
  • Drive innovation in multi-agent orchestration, including task decomposition, dynamic scheduling, and adaptive control strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—product management, data science, software engineering—to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of agentic AI systems in production.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices in AI system design and agent-based architectures.
  • Stay at the forefront of AI research, applying advances in reinforcement learning, automated reasoning, and distributed AI to enhance Skylar capabilities.
  • Contribute to ScienceLogic’s intellectual property and represent the company in technical forums

Qualities you possess…

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering focused on AI, autonomous systems, or multi-agent architectures.
  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field preferred; bachelor's degree is required.
  • Research experience in LLM and agentic orchestration.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing agent-based systems and orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph,TensorFlow or PyTorch, and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable software design.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing, knowledge representation, and automated reasoning is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of delivering complex AI projects from concept to production.
  • Domain experience in Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, Machine Learning/AI, scalable architectures, Cloud (Private, Public, Hybrid) Technologies, Design and operational expertise in Software as a Service (Saas) systems is a big plus.
