Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Affordability Data Analytics Engineer to lead advanced statistical and lifecycle cost analyses for affordability modeling. You will develop analytic frameworks, identify key cost drivers, and support Modelers and Leads with high-confidence datasets in an onsite McKinney, TX setting.

Responsibilities include integrating engineering, operations, and sustainment data, performing cost-behavior analyses, and providing outputs for CRIs and trade studies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, including multivariate regression, forecasting, and/or distribution modeling.
  • Experience analyzing cost structures across design, production, and sustainment phases.

The Principal Affordability Data Analytics Engineer leads advanced statistical and lifecycle cost analyses supporting affordability modeling, cost credibility, and RLPM milestone reviews. The Principal Affordability Data Analytics Engineer develops analytic frameworks, identifies key cost drivers, and supports Modelers and Leads with high-confidence datasets.

This is an onsite role located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Experience with statistical analysis, including multivariate regression, forecasting, and/or distribution modeling.
  • Experience analyzing/ interpreting cost structures across design, production, and/ or sustainment phases.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience supporting Cost Estimating Relationship (CER) development or parametric modeling inputs.
  • Familiarity with DoD cost structures, reporting requirements, or acquisition frameworks.
  • Experience analyzing production, supplier, or sustainment datasets within regulated environments.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
