Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Aeronautical Engineer (Electromechanical) to join the Melbourne, FL team. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3 years or PhD with 1 year.
- Experience with electromechanical components like electrical box assemblies and harness routing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance and SAP.
- Solid modeling design skills (NX, TcE, CATIA, SolidWorks).
Responsibilities
- Apply technical principles to assigned tasks at engineering level.
- Design and develop electrical box assemblies and harness routing drawings.
- Develop technical solutions for moderately complex problems.
- Participate in team discussions and organize tasks.
- Prioritize tasks to meet commitments and minimize rework.
- Represent the organization with internal and external contacts on technical matters.
- Complete all deliverables and participate in product life cycle reviews.
