Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Aeronautical Engineer (Electromechanical) to join its Melbourne, FL team. The selected candidate will design electrical box assemblies and wire harnesses, while leveraging their experience with electromechanical components.

This role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant STEM field, alongside relevant experience and the ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance. The salary range for this position is between $98,400 and $184,200 depending on level and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electromechanical components such as electrical box assembly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical box assemblies and wire harness routing drawings.
• Develop technical solutions to engineering problems of moderate scope.
