Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Principal Acquisitions Program Manager to support the USAF Special Programs Division (AFLCMO/HNJ) at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. This senior role requires managing complex acquisition programs with DoD5000 expertise and TS/SCI clearance.

Travel is limited; you will lead analysis, planning, and execution across program management, budget/finance, and PPBE processes to deliver enterprise-wide solutions that meet mission requirements.

• Master's Degree with 15 years general experience, 10 in acquisition program management

Responsibilities

• Extensive use of DoD5000 in Air Force settings.
• Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and/or recommends solutions for project/program efforts.
• Provide expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes.
• Apply broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning.
• Apply knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, and the PPBE process.
• Review initial and revised acquisition documents and provide the enterprise level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Provide comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitate an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $195,000 annually*

*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Acquisitions Program Manager located at the Hanscom AFBin Bedford Massachusetts supporting the USAF Special Programs Division (AFLCMO/HNJ).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Master's Degree and 15 years of general work experience, 10 years of which must be in acquisition program management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
