NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Principal Accelerated Computing Architect to drive performance optimization for current and next-generation GPUs. You will craft and refine core parallel algorithms, data structures, and reference codes, working closely with hardware and software teams to optimize the interplay of software and hardware.

The ideal candidate holds an MS or PhD in CS/CE/EE with 12+ years of experience, strong math fundamentals, and hands-on CUDA/OpenCL expertise.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong mathematical fundamentals (linear algebra, numerical methods)
• Passion for performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with massively parallel GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL) and APIs for multi-node communication
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ with understanding of software design and algorithms; familiarity with threading APIs and Unix IPC; Python is a plus

Responsabilités

• Perform in-depth analysis and optimization for NVIDIA GPUs to maximize performance
• Create and optimize core parallel algorithms, data structures, and reference codes for NVIDIA GPUs
• Analyze hardware-software interplay on core algorithms, programming models, and applications
• Lead and collaborate with hardware design, software engineering, product and research teams to guide accelerated computing direction
• Dive into accelerated computing applications to enable software-hardware co-design
• Document and present findings via white papers, conference publications, blogs, patents, etc.
