Richmond County School System is seeking a Principal to provide leadership and management for all instructional programs, policies, and activities across the school to ensure high-quality educational experiences in a safe, enriching environment.
The role requires a Master's in Educational Leadership (or related field) and Georgia certification, with at least six years in education and three years of teaching success; district leadership experience is preferred.

Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in educational leadership, school curriculum, or a related field required. Specialist or doctorate degree in a related field preferred. Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered.
Certification or Licensure: Must possess or meet the qualifications for Georgia Professional Certification in Educational Leadership or equivalent out-of-state leadership certification.
Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of principles, practices, materials, and equipment used in public education administration and an ability to apply them to the needs of the school. Knowledge of current curriculum and instructional practices, school operations, and pupil services. Knowledge of public school organization and administration. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate comprehensive instructional programs. Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate the work of instructional and support staff. Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, community, and the general public. Demonstrated skills in organization, planning, and decision-making. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to model professional, moral, and ethical standards. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Experience: Minimum of six years of experience in education, of which at least three years must be of successful teaching required. Prior administrative or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
