Job description

Principal Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Team Lead) is responsible for keeping inventory of supplies, managing/troubleshooting/repairing equipment, contacting Facilities, Housekeeping, IT or Clinical Engineering for issues, conducting and monitoring sleep studies, acting as a team lead or resource for the sleep technologists, assisting the team when ratio is 2:1 patient/tech, setting up equipment and patients, training, and scoring tests. The incumbent must be able to work independently, and foster a sense of professionalism and strong work ethic for the team. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

This position's work schedule is a four-day, nine-hour evening shift schedule. Workdays may be assigned as Tuesday-Friday, Sunday-Wednesday, or Monday-Thursday. Shift start times vary and may begin as early as 1:30 p.m.
