At Collins Aerospace Optronics, we design and develop high precision optical systems for space and airborne environments and visual displays systems for simulator and body-worn environments. As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for driving the successful execution of these high-impact technical programs. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge, exceptional program management expertise, and strong communication skills. They will represent Collins in customer meetings and will brief program status to senior leadership within the organization. The candidate must possess a solid technical background and be able to guide the team to resolution when facing complex technical challenges. They must have experience managing project schedules, budgets and resources, in addition to scope, risks and opportunities.
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
