Job summary

Kroger is seeking a leader to provide guidance during peak hours and work with store and department leaders to build a high-performance culture. You will train associates, ensure timely replenishment, and uphold customer service standards to deliver a great in-store experience.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, the ability to handle stressful situations, and a High School diploma or GED. Retail or produce experience and management exposure are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Partner with the store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture where associates are aligned to the business strategy and receive knowledge and training.
• Ensure orders are put up in a timely manner, rotate product and replenish throughout the day.
• Train and develop associates on their job performance and participate in performance appraisal processes.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions and offering product suggestions.
