Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Power Production Technician (USN) for an onsite role at Al Udeid Airforce Base in Qatar. You will operate and maintain prime power generation, manage transfer switches, fuel, and cabling to support mission needs, with rapid response to base notifications.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance activities, ensuring safety, documenting generator status, and preparing outage reports while adhering to DoD and host-nation requirements.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English fluently and have strong electronics knowledge.
• Experience operating generators 5–4,300 kW is required.
• Journeyman/master electrician with valid U.S. certification and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead resources and activities for installation, operation, and maintenance of power systems.
• Ensure compliance with PWS requirements, host nation laws, and DoD/State requirements.
• Operate, maintain, and repair generators, transfer switches, and related equipment.
• Train team on safety practices and manage hazardous materials storage.
• Document generator status and prepare outage and ad-hoc reports.
