Qualifications

• D.V.M./V.M.D. from AVMA-accredited veterinary school and active US veterinary license.
• USDA accreditation is required or achievable.
• ACLAM board certification or eligibility preferred; 3+ years primate clinical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for NHP colonies and other species.
• Develop preventive health programs and disease surveillance.
• Administer analgesics and anesthetics; oversee surgical and post-surgical care.
• Review protocols and advise investigators on suitable animal models.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with AWA, SOPs and GLP standards.
