Monte Nido Vista in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy and collaborate with families and outpatient providers to support continuity of care.

The role involves working with insurance for pre-certification and utilization management, discharge planning, and therapeutic meal support to model healthy eating behaviours. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline is required.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) is required or pending.
• Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance.
