Job summary

Monte Nido River Towns in Irvington, NY seeks a Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver individual, group, and family therapy. You will liaise with families and outpatient providers and coordinate with insurance for pre-certification and utilization management.

The role may involve discharge planning, therapeutic meal support, and telehealth as needed. The successful candidate holds a Master’s degree in clinical counseling and a state license (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery

We are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Salary: $31.89-$40.87/HR

Schedule: Part time; Sunday is required, other days flexible scheduling.
