Job summary

White Meadows Primary Academy is seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to support learning with enthusiasm, focus on inclusion and assist the class teacher to deliver engaging, practical activities.

The part-time role (30 hours/week across 38 weeks per year) offers a salary of £26,016 per year (FTE) under NJC terms, with opportunities for development within REAch2 Academy Trust and a supportive school team. This role requires commitment to raising standards and positive pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support learning in a primary school setting.
• Experience in delivering whole-class, small-group or 1:1 activities to enhance curriculum access.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide class support and assist the teacher with planned learning activities.
• Deliver small group or 1:1 instruction to support individual pupil needs.
• Contribute to creating practical, hands-on learning experiences that foster a love of learning.
• Help maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil welfare.
