Job summary

Brightli in Springfield, MO is seeking a Primary Support Professional to deliver personalized in-home and community-based services, helping clients achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. You will work with the Program Coordinator to implement Individual Support Plans, coordinate daily activities, and train staff on client needs in a compassionate, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities or successful completion of Missouri Quality Outcomes training approved by the Division of DD regional office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in clients’ homes and communities to deliver personalized care.
• Participate in Individual Support Plan meetings and assist with monitoring visits.
• Train staff on clients’ medical needs and preferences so all team members are informed about medications and compliance.
• Oversee daily documentation and health tracking and ensure behavioral support strategies are implemented as needed.
• Manage household supplies and oversee maintenance of a safe, clean living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator on follow-ups and compliance with medical and training requirements.

Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:

• Oneyearofexperienceinthefieldofintellectual/developmentaldisabilitiesorsuccessfulcompletionoftrainingintheMissouriQualityOutcomesapprovedbytheDivisionofDDregionaloffice.

AdditionalQualifications:

• Currentdriver’slicense,acceptabledrivingrecord,andcurrentautoinsurance.
• Successfulcompletionofabackgroundcheckincludingcriminalrecord,drivingrecord,abuse/neglect,andfingerprintcheck.
• CompletionofNewHireOrientationandallannualtrainingrequirements.
