Job summary

McDonald’s in Beaufort, SC seeks a Maintenance Person to support restaurant cleanliness and equipment upkeep. You will perform routine cleaning, assist with deliveries, and help maintain a safe, functional dining environment for guests and crew.

This role requires physical effort, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and teamwork with management to keep the restaurant operating smoothly. Franchise ownership means employment is with the local franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.

Qualifications

• Maintains interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment.
• Assists with unloading deliveries and stocking.
• Requires ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery trucks twice a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor (if applicable).
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.
• Pressure-wash sidewalks, drive-thru pads, and building.
• Assist with stock up for shifts.
• Other miscellaneous responsibilities will also be required.

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
