The Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, FL is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults and adolescents within our evidence-based eating disorders program.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field and at least two years of direct services post-degree; licensure is preferred. Some bilingual abilities are a plus, and a 40-hour work week with some evenings is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults and adolescents.
• Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers (therapists, dieticians, primary care physicians, psychiatrists).
• Communicate with insurance companies to ensure continued authorization of caseload.
• Participate as an active member of the treatment team.
• Maintain clinical documentation in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for both adults and adolescents, case management services
• Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers (therapists, dieticians, primary care physicians, psychiatrists)
• Communicate with insurance companies to ensure continued authorization of case load
• Participate?as an active member of the treatment team.
• Maintain?clinical documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

• Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Field and a minimum of two years experience in direct services post degree.
• Licensure is preferred.
• Experience working with patients who have eating disorders and trauma is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Hours:

40 hours per week Monday through Friday, some evenings required.
