Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Bloomington, IN seeks an Instructional Assistant to work with experienced teachers in a multi-age, project-based, and literacy-focused environment. The role includes reader's workshop, writer's workshop, varied math programs, small group interventions, and project-based curriculum.

The assistant will support students with IEPs in an inclusion setting, perform supervision, instructional support, and some clerical tasks.

Job description

This position provides an opportunity to work with experienced, exemplary teachers in a multi-age, project based, and literacy focused environment. The instructional assistant will gain experiences and responsibilities with reader's workshop, writer's workshop, various math programs, small group interventions, and project based curriculum. This position will require flexibility and the ability to support a student with individual education plan (IEP) in an inclusion environment. The Instructional Assistant will serve in supervision, instructional support, and some clerical roles.
