Classroom Assistant — The Marlowe School (Atlanta, GA)

The Marlowe School is a boutique single-classroom Montessori preschool in Buckhead. We're a small, intentional community, and we're looking for a Classroom Assistant to join our Primary classroom (ages 2.5–6) and help us do this work well.

What You'll Do

• Support the daily rhythm, transitions, and order of the classroom so our Lead Teacher and Co-Teacher can focus on giving lessons
• Prepare, maintain, and replenish Montessori materials
• Supervise children during work periods, lunch, playtime, and transitions
• Model grace and courtesy, and support children's growing independence
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Teacher and Co-Teacher to maintain a calm, well-ordered environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children ages 2–6 in a school or childcare setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently and anticipating classroom needs without close oversight
• A calm, patient presence and genuine respect for young children
• Ability to pass a background check

Compensation: $18–24/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:45 PM, during the regular school year
