We are seeking a Full-Time Virtualist Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our telehealth team in the Cambridge area, delivering patient-centered care across video visits, phone encounters, asynchronous messaging, and remote monitoring.

Join CHA to onboard new patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide high-quality care while advancing access and efficiency in primary care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of primary care experience in remote care settings.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; MA license.
• Massachusetts PA license, DEA number, Mass DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care via telehealth platforms (video, phone, messaging, remote monitoring).
• Conduct virtual new patient intakes to onboard patients into CHA Primary Care practices.
• Provide inbox coverage, calls from nursing, and manage lab results and critical issues.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across a broad spectrum of clinical conditions.
• Promote patient engagement through effective virtual communication.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, care managers, and other healthcare team members.
• Full-time guaranteed base salary range of $108,000-$161,000 is based on years of experience.

Primary Care Virtualist Physician Assistant

CHA is currently recruiting Full-Time Virtualist Primary Care Physician Assistants to join the primary care team to help improve access, continuity, quality, and efficiency of care.

Position Details

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care through telehealth platforms, including video visits, telephone encounters, asynchronous messaging, and remote patient monitoring


• Conducts virtual new patient intakes to onboard new patients into the CHA Primary Care practices


• Provide inbox coverage as needed, calls from nursing, and critical lab management


• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across a broad spectrum of clinical conditions


• Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through effective virtual communication


• Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, care managers, and other healthcare team members


• Full time guaranteed base salary range of $108,000-$161,000 is based on years of experience

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of primary care experience with a familiarity working in a remote caregiver setting


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively engage and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team


• Commitment to CHA's mission and patient population


• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program


• Current Massachusetts Physician Assistant license


• Current DEA number and Mass DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances


• BLS certification
