1st Pet Veterinary Centers -Mesa is seeking Experienced Primary Care Technicians for our Mesa location. This employee‑owned practice offers primary care, rehabilitation, and emergency services within a supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of veterinary tech experience and preferably are CVTs. You will assist in routine surgeries, monitor anesthesia, and contribute to compassionate, high‑quality pet care and client communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
CVT strongly preferred.
Comfortable monitoring anesthesia during procedures.

1st Pet Veterinary Centers is seeking Experienced Primary Care (General Practice) Technicians for our Mesa location.

1st Pet Veterinary Centers is an employee‑owned (ESOP), Emergency, Specialty, and Primary Care practice in the Phoenix metro area. Our mission is to offer the ultimate pet care experience by providing honest, compassionate, and unparalleled care for pets, their people, and our employees.

Our Mesa location provides Primary Care, Rehabilitation and Emergency & Urgent Care Services.

We are AAHA Accredited, Certified Feline Friendly, and Certified Fear Free Practice.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you need to have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills, combined with compassion, conscientiousness and resiliency - plus the dedication and drive to help others become the best versions of themselves.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

Experienced Primary Care Technicians

Monday -Friday (hours can be from 7am to 9pm depending on the day/shift)

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, CVT strongly preferred
Experience with dentals and other routine surgeries required
Must be comfortable monitoring anesthesia for routine procedures
