Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Primary Care Sports Medicine physician to join our team at the Heights campus. Texas license is required or in process; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine/Sports Medicine.

The role includes on-field coverage for local high school football games in the Heights area as part of our orthopedic ecosystem. We value collaboration with our strong orthopedic Surgery Department and rehabilitation services

Qualifications

Must hold TEXAS medical license or be in process of obtaining one.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine/Sports Medicine.
Experience in sports medicine or concussion management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care sports medicine services.
On-field coverage for local high school football games in the Heights area.
Collaborate with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
